Why Choose Trade Services for your Electrical Training?

Trade Services offers a full training and assessment package that allows you to become a qualified Electrician. Unlike most training centers you will be able complete all of your training with us. You do not need any previous experience to enroll on this course. Our all-inclusive fast-track Electrical programme will give you all the skills, qualifications and experience in Domestic Installation that is necessary to gain work immediately within the Electrical Industry. Due to expansion we are also looking to directly employ successful candidates.

NICEIC Basic Domestic installers Scheme:

For new entrants into the industry or those with limited experience we offer a five-week intensive course will teach you how to carry out domestic installations and to safely test and certify your own work within current regulations. Successful candidates would be able to register with a body such as the NICEIC as Domestic Installers. Our course includes the City and Guilds 2381 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2377 Portable Appliance Testing, which are both level 3 qualifications. To compliment these qualifications we also include the NICEIC Domestic Installers course, which, along with practical training and assessment, will allow successful candidates to work within the Electrotechnical industry.

Fully Qualified Electrician Scheme:

After completing the Trade Services Basic Domestic Installers Course you may wish to take your training further and become a fully qualified electrician. This will allow you to work on both a domestic and commercial electrical systems.

This course focuses on the City and Guilds 2330. The 2330 is the current Electrotechnical certificate to enable candidates to become a qualified electrician. After completion of the 2330 Trade Services can offer on-site assessment once you have a work placement to allow you to gain your work based evidence for your NVQ Level 3. Once you have both the NVQ Level 3 and 2330 you can then register with the JIB as a fully qualified electrician.

Unlike other training centres we can also offer various study modes for this course to suit prospective candidate’s needs from day release, evening classes, intensive courses and even via distance learning. We can also offer both the Level 2 and Level 3 parts of this qualification.

Already an electrician?

The City and Guilds 2392 is for 2008 the new qualification in Inspection,Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations. This qualification is invaluable to anyone wishing to gain approved electrician status with the JIB.

Trade Services also offers 17th Edition wiring regs and PAT Testing.
